DIE SET FEATURES & OPTIONS

 

Standard die sets for most makes and models of rotary-draw tube-bending machines (for round, oval, and elliptical tubing):

  • Bend die with precision-machined inserted clamp

  • Reversible for left-hand and right-hand mounting (for 3-inch/75mm machines)

  • Single thru-keyway

  • Lifting holes (for bend dies larger than 10”/250mm in diameter)

  • Reversible clamp die with T-key or hanger bracket

  • Reversible pressure die with hanger brackets

  • Non-interlocked

  • Zero-lip die cavities

  • Smooth or V-Type (fine) serrated clamp cavities

  • Proprietary metallurgy and case-hardening for shock-resistance and durability

Options for standard die sets:

  • Double-inserted bend die

  • Double keyway and closed-end keyway

  • Precision posthole shoulders for mounting to tie-bar

  • Interlocked

  • Captive-lip die cavities

  • W-Type (extra-fine) serrated clamp cavities

Stackable die sets (for multi-bend operations):

  • Includes all features and options of our standard die sets

  • Inter-die locating keys and hubs

  • Compound clamps, both simple and complex

  • Also available with a single-piece multi-cavity “stacked” radius block

Tapered-leaf die sets (for square and rectangular tubing)

  • Bend die with precision-machined inserted clamp

  • Double thru-keyway or double closed-end keyway

  • Lifting holes (for bend dies larger than 12” in diameter)

  • Clamp die with T-key or hanger bracket

  • Pressure die with hanger brackets

  • Tapered-leaf cavity interlock to ensure tight closure around tubing and easy release of tubing upon completion of the bend

  • Proprietary metallurgy and case-hardening for shock-resistance and durability

Platform die sets (for small-radius and serpentine bends)

  • Bend die with precision-machined inserted clamp

  • Clamp die with T-key or hanger bracket

  • Pressure die with hanger brackets

  • Non-interlocked (interlocking dies are optional)

  • Zero-lip die cavities (captive-lip dies are optional)

  • Smooth or serrated clamp cavities

  • Proprietary metallurgy and case-hardening for shock-resistance and durability
